A seasonal favourite - BVLGARI Voile De Jasmin

Excuse my net curtains, not very aesthetically pleasing i know but they stop the nosey bonks along my street peeping in at me in my PJ's watching Jezza Kyle (oh the shame).
I bought Voile De Jasmin from cheap smells over a year ago and it gets worn every summer. This year it's been taken out of it's winter hiding hole early.

Smells evoke memories and Bylgari's Voile De Jasmin always makes me feel summery. Today i've been wearing this, looking at the sun outside whilst wearing my winter coat, pretending i'm somewhere hot. Brrr, is it Spring yet?!

I didn't think i followed the trend where people wear certain scents for winter and others for summer, but i guess i do in this case.

It's light, fresh and to me smells exactly like Jasmin blossom. If you've ever visited Tunisa where beach front sellers wrap Jasmin blossom garlands around your neck for a few Dinar, you'll know this smell well.

I love the all time favourite's, Mark Jacob's Daisy and Oh So Fresh for similar reasons. They put my head into a place where the sun shines and seasonal affective disorder doesn't exist.

Do you have any favourite seasonal fragrances? If so do share. I might find yet another excuse for a shopping trip.

  1. That sounds delightful! I've never been to Tunisia, but I really want to!

I do wear heavier, more spicy fragrances in the darker months and lighter, more greeny-floral scents in the warmer months. I love Vera Wang's Princess for winter: chocolately and warm.

No real fave for summer right now -- I go through moods and right now I'm looking for the perfect light rose for spring...

    1. Thanks for commenting. Have you tried Paul Smith's Rose? That's a true rose scent, to me. Might be worth having a tester spritz. I think there's a lighter version of PS Rose too? x

  3. I recently purchased FlowerBomb by Victor Rolf and love its spicy scent but realize that it smells more like a man. I still love the smell but wonder if others think the same thing. Have you smelled it more?

    1. Never had a sniff of FlowerBomb at all Vicki.
I get a bit overpowered by smells when i walk into the beauty department so if and when i do go in one to have a smell it's intentionally just for one scent. I walk in then walk out before i vomit with perfume overkill.
I am curious and will make a point of finding out about that one though. I'm curious. x
